What customers say?

“ This pork cutlet was so addictingly delicious. When it first came out, I was shocked at the size of it, but I was even more shocked that I was able to finish it all. I couldn’t stop eating because I was hypnotized by the combination of the rich, comforting sauce with the perfectly crispy pork. It also came with a soup and some side dishes, which was a great complement to the heavy dish. All ordering is done through a screen on your table, which is also where you ping the waitstaff if you need anything. Food came quickly, and I left full and happy. ”

“ Another Donkatsu restaurant but with a bit of twist in that they serve the traditional noodles dishes and also serve the more modern fusion dishes such as Spaghetti Bolognese and Cream Pasta with seafood. I stuck to the traditional dishes and they did not disappoint. The Pork Cutlet was huge and everything was fried perfectly. Crispy and juicy inside. Personally, I always ask for the sauce on the side. I am a little picky about Donkatsu sauces (HATE the ones that has cinnamon in it) and some restaurants drench the Donkatsu in the sauce. The Cold Buckwheat Noodles were ice cold and yes it is served with ice floating in it as it should. The noodles in the both the cold noodle dishes were nice and chewy. The prices were a bit high but I guess reasonable nowadays with all the the price hikes. They have a small parking lot but street parking is available as well. They also have a fridge where they sell prepared battered cutlets where you can buy and fry at home yourself. It's kind of funny if you see it because the cutlets are sizes of half sheet pans. Overall, I recommend this place and would definitely return. ”

“ Best pork cutlet in Koreatown! Absolutely nailed it. The king pork cutlet is massive, perfectly crispy on the outside, juicy and tender inside. The vibe is clean and modern, and the staff were super attentive without rushing us. Even with a full house, the food came out hot and fresh. Portion size? Easily shareable or just a great excuse to treat yourself If you’re a 돈까스 lover or just craving something crispy and satisfying, this is the spot. Can’t wait to come back and try the cheese cutlet next time! ”

“ I have heard about this spot for a while, and was always hesitant to go because I heard the wait can be decently long. We went on a Sunday afternoon and there was no wait at all - in fact we were maybe the 4th party in the entire restaurant. The portions are huge! Pork cutlet was very good, the sauce is amazing. The fish & shrimp combo was also great. If you’re going to get the pork cutlet, just know it’s massive and should consider sharing with someone else unless you eat a lot or are super hungry. The soup they give at the beginning tastes so good too. We also shared a cream pasta with seafood, and that was very good as well. Prices were also very standard - I heard it was overpriced from friends, but I think the restaurant is fairly priced for the quality of dishes. 9/10 would recommend. ”

“ We ordered takeout from La Sung House and it was great! We got both the regular pork cutlet and the spicy one — both were classic Korean-style wang donkatsu: huge, crispy, and super tasty. Honestly, I liked the regular one better since it felt more like the original flavor. My husband loved them too, so this will definitely be our go-to spot from now on. The order came out quickly, and even after bringing it home, everything stayed nice and crispy. The price was reasonable, and our kids enjoyed it too, which is always a win. Can’t wait to come back and try it fresh in the restaurant next time! ”

“ I don’t often crave fried cutlets, but when I do, this is my go-to spot. The takeout packaging is well done, but dining in definitely gives you the best flavor and experience. Portions are generous, and it’s great to come with a group of 3–4 people to share and try a variety of dishes. Their pastas and noodle dishes are also worth ordering. My friends who were visiting said it was one of the best meals they’ve had in LA so far. Parking is limited, but there’s a small lot right next to the restaurant. ”

“ Lasung House is a cozy Korean comfort food spot in Ktown, known for its amazing pork cutlet. The cutlet is super crispy with the perfect meat-to-breading ratio, topped with a delicious sauce, and the portion is huge—bigger than your face! The restaurant is clean and beautifully decorated with a Korean vibe, making it a great spot for Instagram or sharing food pics on Facebook. You’ve got to try their Rice Shikhye Slush! It’s refreshing, though a bit on the sweeter side—it’d be even better if it were less sweet. Quick tips: Parking is limited, but you can find street parking nearby. Definitely add cheese to the pork cutlet for extra flavor. ”
